The day has come. You booked your appointment a week and now you’re waiting anxiously for that carpet cleaner to arrive and impress you with his oh-so-marvelous cleaning prowess. There he is at your door, waiting for you to invite him in!
But have you ever wondered where he’s been before arriving? Or are you a little curious about where he goes when he leaves? Well look no further, because I’m here today to solve that mystery for you!
At the Indianapolis Zerorez, a technician’s day begins bright and early at 6:45 in the morning. He gets to the office and looks over his van and equipment, makes sure he has enough Powered Water® and ensures that everything is in tip-top shape. All of the technicians then gather for a morning meeting to learn more effective ways to do their job and go over old practices to keep themselves sharp. Then, at 7:30, your technician is off to his first job of the day!
He’s usually assigned a route at the beginning of the day consisting of between 3 and 5 jobs, depending on their size and location. Most of these fit within a two-hour window, although bigger jobs will naturally get bigger windows. But before he sets out, he’ll give you a call to let you know he’s on the way.
At every job, his goal is to determine what it is you need. Whether that’s cleaning your carpets, furniture, rugs or tile and grout, his goal is to leave you with a smile on your face. Once everything is finished and he’s all packed up, he sets off for the next customer to repeat the process.
Sometimes, however, things can change. An earlier customer may decide to add on a lot of extra services, which slows your technician down. But when this happens, the office is there to swoop in and try and accommodate for that. Sometimes, they’ll try and reroute a different technician to come and take care of you. If that can’t happen, they’ll contact you immediately to try and work the situation out. But rest assured, your best interests are always at heart.
So the end of the day comes and the technician has finished his final job. He ends the day by heading back to the office to reclean his van and equipment. That way, everything is in tip-top shape for the next day and a new round of happy customers. Stay clean, Indy.
